    Roger and his older sister, Deanne, had only seen post cards of Niagara Falls. Little did they know they would soon become part of Niagara’s history and the focus of a human-interest story shared with millions of visiting tourists over the past 48 years. 

     Roger and Deanne’s story became known as the Miracle of Niagara, after a Saturday afternoon boat ride turned tragic on the upper Niagara River on July 9, 1960.

    Roger is here today to share his and Deanne’s story of how they were saved from certain death at the Niagara Falls in 1960, but more importantly how God once again rescued them from the grips of death and redefined the “Miracle of Niagara.”
