My series on the abundant life challenges the world-view by defining it not on things but to understand it through a life of worship, Bible study, prayer, etc. In other words, a person who truly lives an abundant life is one who is abundant in worship, prayer and the Word. It has nothing to do with material things. We never have to worry about modesty in the spiritual disciplines....be lavish and abundant in your worship...in your prayer...in the Word...and you will know the abundant life! I think it is in our genes to seek abundance, as a means of providing for the uncertain future. Only people with a lot on conviction and self control can become modest. Good luck!
